(CD) & Vinyl / 12th May 1997 / Single produced by Dave Allen (of Cure - Disintegration fame), Roast Beef was a live version recorded on the "Melody Maker Shaker" tour. & given away as a free cassette on the MM cover. Click the link below to watch the video shot in a club in Angel Islington, London. This single reached the top 20 of the Independent singles chart in the USA after being played extensively on the Morrissey Malajusted tour in the USA 1997, where the band supported Morrissey for 3 months across America & Europe (Sept/Oct/Nov '97).
